I'm working on my anatomy (specifically male) right now because I have a dream of making Bryn and other characters of mine into a comic or animated series. I've had this idea for a couple years now, so I've been thinking of story and characters for a long time.
Bryn's 16 years old, and has a twin brother named Steven. Bryn's interests lie in science and athletics, and he prefers engineering to most other scientific fields. He's a bit of a narcissist, and extremely competitive- so much so that he'll take almost any challenge presented to him. He's more of a track and field kind of guy, so he's more slender than muscular. Bryn is also very family oriented, and will do anything for his brother, even if it means going out of his way to make Steven happy. This plays into his likelihood to be more popular than Steven, and often includes Steven in whatever he's doing. Much to the displeasure of the other popular kids.
He can be too trusting, though. Bryn has a slight inability to see past the original front people show him, leading him to believe everyone is good at heart- which often gets him in trouble.
The reasoning for this is Bryn's childhood. He was born with a condition making him just above legally blind, so he always had to wear thick, goggle-like glasses. Steven, who was constantly sick and forever stuck in a thick coat, and he were kept inside for most of their lives. The few people Bryn met throughout his early years took pity on him and Steven and showed kind actions. Thus, he always believed everyone was nice.
Bryn's true passion is robotics, but he knows enough about cars from his interest in engineering people always assume he's the classic car-loving jock.
